Refund Policy

We want every engagement to be a good fit. This policy describes when and how refunds are issued for purchases made on https://www.iamuk.in.

1. One-time purchases (fixed-price work)

This includes services like the WordPress migration package, custom amounts, and one-off retainer payments.

  • Before work begins: 100% refund within 48 hours of payment if we have not yet started the engagement (kickoff call not held, no access provisioned, no work commenced).
  • After work begins: partial refund pro-rated to the portion of work not yet delivered, at our reasonable discretion. Out-of-pocket costs (third-party services, infrastructure, paid licences procured on your behalf) are non-refundable.
  • After delivery: non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

2. Subscription retainers

Includes Infrastructure Monitoring (Starter / Growth / Scale) and the hourly retainer when set to recurring.

  • First-month money-back guarantee: if the engagement is not a fit, request a full refund of your first month within 7 days of the first charge. Subsequent months are non-refundable but you can cancel at any time to stop further charges.
  • After the first month: the current billing cycle is non-refundable. Cancellation prevents further charges and is effective at the end of the current cycle by default. See the Cancellation Policy.
  • Annual subscriptions: a pro-rated refund is available within 14 days of the first charge, less any service consumed and any one-time onboarding fees. After 14 days annual plans are non-refundable.

3. Promotional and discounted purchases

Refunds for purchases made with a promo code are calculated against the actual amount paid (post-discount), not the list price.

4. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] from the email associated with your account, including:

  • Your Razorpay payment ID or subscription ID.
  • The amount and reason for the refund.

Approved refunds are processed via Razorpay back to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. Bank-side processing may take additional time depending on your card issuer.

5. Failed refunds

If your original payment method is no longer valid (closed card, expired UPI mandate), we will request alternative bank details to issue the refund.

6. Disputes and chargebacks

Please reach out to us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Most issues can be resolved within 24 to 48 hours via email. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may delay resolution while we respond to the bank inquiry.
