I'm Usman, a senior cloud and security engineer based in India. Over the last 12+ years I've designed, secured, and operated production infrastructure for SaaS platforms, content sites, and internal tooling. Mostly on AWS.

What I work on

• AWS architecture. Multi-account setups, EKS, RDS, Lambda, S3, Route 53, networking, IAM. From greenfield design to cleanup of accounts that got away.
• Security & compliance. Hardening, vulnerability assessments, IAM least-privilege, secrets management, incident response. CEH-certified, so I look at systems the way an attacker would.
• DevOps & SRE. CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, observability, runbooks, FinOps. The unglamorous work that turns a stack from "it boots" into "we sleep at night."

How I work

I prefer simple systems that survive reality over clever ones that need a babysitter. I write the code, the runbook, the diagram, and the budget. The interesting problems usually live where those four meet.

I take on a small number of paid engagements at a time. Fixed scope, fixed price, real handoff documentation. No retainers, no LinkedIn theatrics.
